Vamos entender o que estamos fazendo aqui. Existem três tipos de verbos: o verbo to be, os verbos modais e os outros verbos. Cada tipo de verbo vai corresponder a um determinado tipo de orientação estrutural/sintática.

Em perguntas:
- You are a man vira Are you a man? (primeiro tipo de verbo: to be)
- You can sleep vira Can you sleep? (segundo tipo de verbo: modal)
- You want chocolate vira Do you want chocolate? (terceiro tipo de verbo)

O terceiro é especial porque ao transformarmos em pergunta, passamos a fazer uso de um outro verbo, o to do, que é o verbo auxiliar. Esse conceito de verbo auxiliar é importantíssimo. Provavelmente você já sabe disso que falei aqui, mas quis reforçar porque é o mesmo raciocínio que você vai usar nas tag questions.

O verbo auxiliar de to bring é to do, não to be. Então ao colocar a frase They bring together the parents of victims na forma de tag question, você vai usar don't they.

Nas tag questions você deve olhar o verbo da oração. Caso ele seja um verbo de ação, sem auxiliar, a tag question deverá ter no final: do/don't ou does/doesn't seguido do pronome.

He swims, doesn't he?

We make delicious cookies, don't we?

Quando o verbo indica estado ou qualidade, sem auxiliar, no final temos: is/isn't ou are/aren't seguido do pronome.

You're are awesome, aren't you?

My mom is a teacher, isn't she?

Além disso, se temos modal verbs ou auxiliares, nós teremos:

You have moved from Italy, haven't you? (Present perfect)

You ought to listen to the teacher, oughtn't you?(Modal verb)

She can't swim, can she? (Modal verb)

We won't do the dishes, will we? (Simple future)

Before my father passed away, he had had a job in Coca-Cola, hadn't he? (Past perfect)

By the end of the century, our society will have achieved equality, won't she? (Future perfect)

Your cat was walking near from here when he was attacked by a dog, wasn't he?
